J.J. van Haaren Transport BV is a versatile international transport company that is always up for a challenge.
Service is our priority. That is why we offer a wide range of services: national and international transport, groupage, distribution, warehousing, transloading, container handling and expedition.
We have 14 trucks and 15 trailers consisting of tarpaulin and tautliners with sliding roof. We also have trailers equipped with a tail lift in case a forklift is not available at the loading or unloading location..
We also have trailers with truckmounted forklift available.

History
On September 1, 1970, Joop van Haaren bought is first truck. This was an open Bedford with trailer. He started with auction transports, taking crates full of vegetables and fruit from Nijmegen to any destination in the Netherlands. These were mostly auction crates that had to be loaded and unloaded by hand. Forklifts weren’t in use yet so everything was done by hand. Because Joop was at the wheel himself, he saw customers on a regular basis and he was able to do quite some networking.
Because he spent a lot of time in the port of Rotterdam, this networking resulted in a different type of transport: container handling. The amount of work increased, so Joop had to expand. The number of trucks that took care of the transportation of crates and containers grew to 6.
Because it became busier and busier at the office and new contracts kept coming in, it was no longer possible for Joop be on the road himself. Together with his wife Kitty he managed all the office work.
Today the fleet consists of 14 trucks, 15 trailers, tarpaulin and tautliners with sliding roof. For distribution there is a truck with tail lift, as well as a delivery van for smaller shipments.
Thanks to our competent drivers, most of whom have worked for Van Haaren Transport BV for years, the company has become what it is today.
J.J. van Haaren Transport is now run by Jochen van Haaren. He manages planning, maintains contact with existing and new clients, plans truck maintenance and manages purchasing and sales. His sister Natasja van Haaren manages the entire administration.
